Candy Tray

They made this candy tray on The Chew last week. I knew it was something Hunter and I would love to make the minute I saw it. 
 
  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
  2. Upwrap cheap peppermint candies (according to Clinton Kelly... "The cheaper the better.")
  3.  
 
3.  Place the mints 1/4 inch appart on parchment paper... So simple a 5 year old can do it! :-)

 
4.  Bake at 300 until mints melt together. About 3 minutes.  Watch them! 
You don't want them to burn!
 
5.  Remove from oven and let cool.  You might want to trim the edges while they are still hot.  Notice, mine are not very straight.
 
The finished product (below) would be a great serving plate for your holiday cookies.
