If you live in Nebraska, you are probably familiar with Tastee Sandwiches. The original restaurant is gone, but the recipe lives on. I believe it was the first "drive thru" restaurant in Lincoln - The funny thing was, the drive thru window was on the passenger side of the car... It didn't matter back then, because we didn't have seat belts to unbuckle - We would just slide over on our bench seat to pay and pick up our order. Back then, you could get a sandwich, onion chips and a drink for $1.50! It was always a special day when my Mom would take us there for lunch. Ingredients: 5 lbs. of Ground Beef (85/15) 4 oz. of ketchup 3 heaping teaspoons of prepared mustard 3 heaping teaspoons of creamy horseradish 3 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce 2 heaping teaspoons of salt (The original recipe calls for 5 teaspoons - I think this makes it too salty.) 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper 1 large ground onion 1 teaspoon of Accent seasoning Place 5 lbs. of ground beef in a l

MAGIC CAKE MIX 1 box of angelfood cake mix 1 box of your favorite flavor of regular cake mix. Stir until well blended. Store in an airtight container. To make 1 small cake: Add 3 Tablespoons of Magic Mix to a coffee mug Add 2 Tablespoons of water to the mug and mix well. Microwave for 60 seconds Empty cake unto a plate and garnish with your favorite toppings.

Mini Chocolate Cakes with Ganache - Made with Black Beans!

As I walked out of the gym tonight, I noticed a table with Weight Watcher recipes... I ran right home to try this one. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat mini muffin tins with non stick spray. Add the following ingredients to your food processor: 1 (15 oz) can of rinsed and drained black beans 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1/4 cup butter 3 eggs 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp vanilla Purée until smooth then add 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips....pulse until combined. Spoon batter into muffin cups. Bake for 10 minutes. Make Ganache Mix 5 tablespoons of bitter sweet Chocolate chips and 1/4 cup water in microwave safe bowl. Heat for 15 seconds....mix until smooth. The instructions said to use a double boiler, but I'm too impatient for that. Top each mini cake with approx 1 tsp of ganache and a fresh berry. I didn't have berries in the house so ours are topped with a pecan. Each cake is approx 74 calories.
